- The daily work location can be at either our Tampa Headquarters at 5550 West Executive Drive, Tampa, Florida or at the Fort Myers Headquarters located at 4371 Veronica S. Shoemaker Boulevard, Fort Myers, Florida.
- Please note, this is not a remote role.
Job Description Summary:
The Quality & Patient Safety Analyst is responsible for assisting in driving organizational quality and patient safety through adherence to performance measures. Demonstrates working knowledge of all facets of role, relevant regulations, and organizational and departmental policies and procedures. Performs other duties and projects as assigned. Performs these functions at the direction of the Senior Director of Quality and Patient Safety.
Position Qualifications/Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing, required.
Certifications/Licenses:
- Registered Nurse State of Florida (RN), required
- Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ), required
- Certified Professional in Patient Safety (CPPS), preferred
- Valid Florida state Driver’s License for travel to satellite offices and offsite meetings. Compliance with the company Driver Safety Operations and Motor Vehicle Records Check Policy is required.
Previous Experience:
- Five (5) plus years of experience as a RN with at minimum two (2) in healthcare quality and/or patient safety.
- Knowledge of and experience with CMS Medicare Conditions of Participation, oncology care organizations, Federal and State laws and regulations relating to clinical care issues, and clinical reporting requirements is preferred.
- Prior experience either working in a physician practice and/or hospital setting in healthcare quality and/or patient safety, required.
- Knowledge of and experience with regulatory issues pertaining to healthcare providers, Florida federal laws and regulations related to health law issues, informed consent, and quality standards of care, required.
