• JOB TITLE: * Homemaker Aide

JOB DESCRIPTION: Our agency is looking for compassionate and dedicated Homemaker/Chore Aide to be a part of our team. The Homemaker/Chore Aide will be responsible in maintaining a healthy and safe environment. The Homemaker/Chore Aide must be friendly and energetic who has a genuine passion for providing our clients with the best care possible.

• DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: *

• House Cleaning (Vacuuming, Sweeping and Dusting)

• Linen Change

• Laundry, Ironing & Mending

• Meal Preparations

• Grocery Shopping/ Errands

• Garbage Disposal

• Companionship

• Encourage patients to participate in social and recreational activities.

• Adhere to professional standards, follow policies and procedures and abide by federal, state and local requirements, as well as Joint Commission standards.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS FOR THE JOB:

• Must have an experience or training in the performance of homemaker/chore services

• Preferably 3-6 months of caregiving experience

• Must be CPR/First Aid certified

• Must have a reliable transportation

• If transporting a client, you must have a Valid State of HI driver’s license

• Must pass criminal background check

• Must have moderate to excellent communication skills

• Ability to understand and follow policies and procedures.

• High School Diploma, or GED

• Able to work under-pressure and handle critical situations in a calm demeanor

Job Type: Full-time

Standard shift:

• Day shift
• Night shift

Weekly schedule:

• Monday to Friday
