As a comprehensive transplant unit offering BMT and Solid Organ Transplant, we provide patient-focused care in our 24-bed, all private room unit. With 3-4:1 Nurse to Patient Ratios, our cohesive care teams work effectively and offer staff a sense of a home.

The primary duties of a Registered Nurse in this position include:

• Provides direct patient care within the scope of his/her practice. Patient care includes assessment, planning and implementing a plan of care and evaluating patients' progress towards expected outcomes.
• Takes primary responsibility for the patients' care as delivered by the Care Team under his/her supervision.
• Works collaboratively with other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.

This is a Full-Time Day shift benefited position, working 12-hour shifts. Located at Scripps Green Hospital in Torrey Pines, La Jolla.

Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certifications:

• Current CA RN License
• Current American Heart Association BLS
• Registered nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing
• One year RN experience
• Must be able to speak, read and follow instructions in English
• Excellent interpersonal skills. Must be able to demonstrate positive behaviors

Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certifications:

• Bachelor's degree in nursing
• Previous RN experience in Oncology/Transplant highly preferred
• Oncology Certified Nurse
