Scripps Green Hospital in La Jolla has 173 licensed beds and more than 1,400 employees, Scripps Green campus includes Scripps Clinic Torrey Pines, which is home to more than 50 medical and surgical specialties; the Anderson Outpatient Pavilion; the Shiley Musculoskeletal Center; the Scripps Center for Integrative Medicine; and an on-site pharmacy.
As a comprehensive transplant unit offering BMT and Solid Organ Transplant, we provide patient-focused care in our 24-bed, all private room unit. With 3-4:1 Nurse to Patient Ratios, our cohesive care teams work effectively and offer staff a sense of a home.
The primary duties of a Registered Nurse in this position include:
- Provides direct patient care within the scope of his/her practice. Patient care includes assessment, planning and implementing a plan of care and evaluating patients' progress towards expected outcomes.
- Takes primary responsibility for the patients' care as delivered by the Care Team under his/her supervision.
- Works collaboratively with other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.
This is a Full-Time Day shift benefited position, working 12-hour shifts. Located at Scripps Green Hospital in Torrey Pines, La Jolla.

Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certifications:
- Current CA RN License
- Current American Heart Association BLS
- Registered nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing
- One year RN experience
- Must be able to speak, read and follow instructions in English
- Excellent interpersonal skills. Must be able to demonstrate positive behaviors
Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree in nursing
- Previous RN experience in Oncology/Transplant highly preferred
- Oncology Certified Nurse
