Our around-the-clock emergency care in Inpatient & Free Standing EDs includes:

• Doctors board-certified in emergency medicine and an emergency-trained care team
• Advanced diagnostic imaging services, including the most up-to-date CT scanner, digital X-ray and ultrasound
• A full range of laboratory services
• Treatment rooms, including designated trauma/resuscitation rooms
• Bedside registration for convenience and privacy
• Private observation rooms for monitoring
• On-call medical specialists available for consultation
• Emergency transportation by ambulance for critically ill or injured patients
• Full-service care for a variety of serious conditions from broken bones and severe cuts to heart attacks and strokes
• Backing by Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center, home to the region's only Level I trauma center
