JOB SUMMARY

This position is responsible for updating and enhancing customer Geographic Information Systems (GIS). This includes entering new data in existing GIS programs and modifying existing data such as land base information and customer facilities. This position works under immediate supervision and relies on instructions and pre- established guidelines to perform the work.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Entering new data in customer GIS programs
• Modifying existing data in customer GIS programs
• Performing miscellaneous job-related duties as necessary

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• GIS certification, Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in GIS related discipline, or equivalent workexperience
• Working knowledge of basic software programs
• Prior experience utilizing GIS software in the utility or pipeline industry preferred
• Knowledge of CADD is a plus
• Strong work ethic with desire to work in a production environment

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Must possess ability to work in a standard office setting and to use standard office equipment, including a computer, and to attend meetings at various sites within and away from the Firm; must also be able to work at a desk for long periods of time (2-3 hours); strength to lift and carry materials weighing up to 25 pounds; vision to read printed materials and a computer screen; and hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone.

Pay: From $19.50 per hour
