Job description
  • Responsible for the entire sales process from lead generation, prospecting, proposal management, and successfully closing new sales.
  • Identify and qualify prospects and initiate contact to lead the sales process. Maintain a pipeline of activity that aligns with position and company goals.
  • Conduct sales presentations and lead discussions to advance the sales process.
  • Negotiate price and contract terms and conditions.
  • Utilize CRM software to document and organize all sales activities and contacts.
  • Produce reports and updates for management in a timely manner.
  • Develop and organize sales promotional materials and tools necessary to build the sales pipeline.
  • Work collaboratively with Marketing, Client Management, Operations, Technology, and management team.
  • Participate in the implementation process to onboard new clients.
  • Engage instED management team and include in discussions, presentations and closing when appropriate.
  • Develop assigned territory to maximize company and service reach into new geographies.
  • Attend and assist with the planning of industry and company events to generate interest in our services.
  • Contribute to market analysis and strategy planning.
  • Represent sales when appropriate in cross-functional business initiatives
Working Conditions:

  • Local and national travel required as needed.
Required Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
Required Experience:
  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience in sales, client management, or in a client engagement role, ideally with experience selling to health insurance/health plans.
  • Experience with data and analytic software and tools.
  • Experience working in a clinical or health insurance organization, or payor or provider environment a plus.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Demonstrated success meeting and exceeding new business sales goals and targets.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Lead generation, prospecting, sales processes, closing sales.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to overcome challenges and advance the sales cycles
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, start-up environment with rapidly evolving priorities and deliverables.
  • Interest in healthcare and in alternative service and delivery models.
  • Proficient in Zoom, MS teams, Outlook, MS Office, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, Patient Ping, other analytical tools.
  • Highly organized with the capability to help develop and support different initiatives as needed in a quickly evolving market
  • Must be a self-starter with a high level of accountability and
  • Must possess exceptional interpersonal and presentation
  • High analytical acumen; experience reviewing and managing key performance indicators (KPIs) and generating actionable insights.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfort delivering presentations to range of audiences and engaging C-Suite contacts.
  • Be able to effectively manage different strategies and plans, while achieving milestones and deliverables.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Salesforce experience a plus
Required Other:
  • Familiar with standard office equipment
  • Ability to help with trade show displays, set up and break down.
