Various tools and technologies are welcome - we are looking for candidates that are well-rounded and open to learning new technologies as needed. The ideal candidate has a strong working knowledge of server, network, AD/DNS, VMware as well as be able to troubleshoot/debug complex server, network, and application issues. This position requires advanced experience and strong knowledge of Windows, Linux, and Cisco iOS VMs hosted on vCenter. Candidates should also be able to write SQL queries including joins and have working knowledge of SQL Databases and overall working knowledge of most database concepts.
This is a 100% remote position.

InComm is looking for a Senior Systems Engineer, Voice to join the team. InComm maintains a customized on-premise call center and IVR system that handles over 100 million customer phone calls per year. You would be an integral part of supporting and maintaining that system, as well as developing new features and functionalities to better serve our customers.

Responsibilities:
- Help design new multi-table systems and understand database basics such as primary/foreign keys, data types, etc.
- Create new reports and stored procedures through basic SQL CRUD statements
- Help maintain our multi-server, multi-datacenter, synchronized MSSQL environment
- Maintain existing dashboards/alerts as well as create new alerting solutions.
- Administering the systems (patching, maintenance, etc.) along with the rest of the team.
- Cisco UCCE Call Center and IVR System
- Responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining existing and new call flows for call centers including ACD management, call/priority queue creation and tuning, skills-based routing, IVR scripting, voicemail roll-over mechanics, etc.
- System/server maintenance - this includes application and server patching/updates, monthly compliance reboots, certificate management/renewals, data archival/retrieval, building automated solutions for maintenance tasks, etc.
- Handle incoming tickets for minor changes. The ability to maintain patience with end users is required.
- Handle incoming tickets for UCCE issues between call center system components and between the system and the end users, assisting call center agents or supervisors with login issues, working with vendor support (Calabrio, Nuance, etc.) to troubleshoot application-specific errors.
- 5+ Years of Experience as Systems Engineering and Administration
- Strong working knowledge of server, network, AD/DNS, VMware concepts
- Ability to patiently troubleshoot/debug complex server, network, and application issues
- Advanced experience and strong knowledge of Windows, Linux, and Cisco iOS VMs hosted on vCenter is required
- SQL Databases and overall working knowledge of most database concepts
- Ability to easily write SQL queries including joins
- Ability to help design new database systems
- Understand the basics of database replication and synchronization, MSSQL server monitoring, automated backups, patching/updates, user permissions, security, etc.
- Troubleshooting skills and the ability to maintain patience while troubleshooting complex database-related issues.
- Experience with Zabbix, Grafana, Elastic Stack and understanding of SNMP
- Experience with Python or other scripting languages is a plus. Experience with writing regular expressions is helpful but not required.
