Job Duties and Responsibilities:
As a Wireless Support Team Member, you'll be responsible for providing outstanding technical and customer service support. Your duties will include:

  • Responding to customer inquiries through one-call or chat resolution
  • Answering questions related to billing and payments and accepting payments from customers
  • Assisting DISH to determine call types, failure trending, and/or diagnostic improvements to provide a higher level of customer service, performance, and efficiency
  • Communicating the value of our products and offering tips to customers on how to get the most out of DISH

Skills, Experience and Requirements:

Ideal representatives have:

  • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
  • Six months of related customer service and troubleshooting experience and/or training
  • An openness to being coachable and a desire to learn new techniques


All representatives must have:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, flexible environment and be adaptable to different work environments
  • Exceptional attention to detail, including being able to remain focused on the phone for the entirety of your shift and multitask effectively
    • You will be speaking with customers while logging information, following different processes, and navigating multiple tools
  • Superb attendance
  • Willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends, evenings, and holidays
    • Flexibility with schedule changes through the year
  • Tech savviness with the ability to smoothly operate Windows OS desktop computer and ability to grasp wireless technology concepts
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a commitment to delivering high-quality customer service
  • Willingness to proactively communicate problems to various business levels


Work-at-Home Technical Requirements

Computer & Accessories

DISH will provide all equipment required to perform the role aside from home internet!

Home Internet

  • Stable Cable, DSL, or Fiber ISP internet connection with minimum 25 Mbps download and 2 Mbps upload speed with 99% uptime and no bandwidth or data caps
  • Wired ethernet between modem and PC without the use of an adapter: Wi-Fi / wireless is not supported

Home Environment and Work Space

  • Dedicated home office workspace with adequate space to set up the workstation, three power connections, and the ability to hardwire internet
  • Personal disruptions are not allowed during scheduled hours and should not be audible in the background noise
    • This role requires a full-time commitment and does not allow for flexibility to answer the door or care for others during work hours
