Workday Business Technology Consultant – The Auto Club Group
What you will do:
Serves as department technology expert and inter-department liaison between the business unit and Information Systems area regarding workstation maintenance, business technology issues, operational problems, IS standards and policies and procedures in order to support business unit strategic and operational goals and objectives. Provides consultative services from a business technology perspective for the department staff and external clients. Completes timely, complex analyses for upper management and represents the department on corporate projects. Analyzes complex business unit specific technical problems, identifies opportunities, designs, codes and tests batch and on-line programs. Designs, develops and maintains various business unit specific databases using appropriate tools (e.g. Microsoft Access, (SQL) Structured Query Language, Saros, Case Management, HP Exstream, etc.). Ensures modules are structured, meet functional and technical requirements; and adhere to IS standards. Oversees technical and non-technical employees in the design and implementation of business unit specific systems. Coordinates the configuration, installation and testing of hardware and software. Monitors production applications and controls access to corporate data to maintain data security and integrity. Prepares ad hoc reports and analyzes as needed
Serves as a department technology expert and inter-departmental liaison between the business unit, information systems, external vendors and clients regarding the Workday HRMS system and related applications (i.e., Learning, HR, Payroll, Benefits). Evaluates and makes recommendations regarding upgrades and improvements to system in order to maintain peak performance and productivity. Provides training and support as it relates to system administration responsibilities. Coordinates and assists in the configuration and testing of Workday applications. Monitors production applications and controls access to corporate data to maintain data security and integrity.
