Rental Sales Associate handle all the administration and inquiries involved with renting vehicles to businesses and the public. If you enjoy meeting people and have an interest in cars, you may enjoy this career. To do this job you will need to have excellent customer service skills. You will also need good communication skills and a basic understanding of vehicle types. Most importantly, this job is for one who loves to do sales (Upgrades, Coverages, GPS, Roadside)

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Greet customers as they arrive on counter.
• Deal with customer inquiries about the availability and rental cost of vehicles
• Make reservations and explain the terms of rental or leasing agreements
• Help customers over the counter in Rental Process
• Check mileage and inspect for damage when vehicles are returned.
• Handle customers questions or complaints and work to resolve overdue car rentals
• Work aggressively to achieve and maintain sales goals. Using effective sales techniques to encourage customers to utilize service options.
• In time of need, RSA may be required to prepare vehicles for the customers while maintaining Avis Budget quality and customer service standards.
• Perform pickup and drop off service for customers.
• Perform other work related tasks required by management.

SKILLS

• 1-2 years’ experience in Car Rental or Car Leasing industry is preferred but not required.
• Sales/Customer Service experience of other industry is also welcome.
• Ability to use effective sales techniques.
• Ability to demonstrate effective interpersonal and communication skills with customers.
• Good organizational skills.
• Ability to present a professional, enthusiastic attitude through effective communication skills to promote a positive impression to customers.
• Ability to recognize the opportunity to present upgrades to customers.
• Ability to understand and follow oral and written directions.
• Ability to recognize the opportunity to present Counter Products to customers

A VALID DRIVING LICENSE WITH A CLEAN DRIVING RECORD IS A MUST.

Location hours are: Mon - Fri: 7 am - 6 pm Sat: 8 am - 1 pm Sun: 8 am - 12 pm.
