Job Summary

The Mobile Network and System (MNS) Lab seeks a temporary researcher to assist in the analysis and improvement of brain activities and other physiological signals through a set of dedicated customized devices.

What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be

The key responsibilities involve utilizing machine learning techniques to enhance brain function by investigating and enhancing focus and creativity by analyzing brain signals. Additionally, it includes the development of a comprehensive device and system for monitoring food glucose levels. The role also entails preparing and adhering to Institutional Review Board (IRB) protocols in order to conduct experiments involving human subjects. Finally, the responsibilities encompass conducting thorough clinical evaluations for the proposed systems.

The hire rate for this appointment will be $30.00 per hour.

Temporary positions at the University of Colorado are not benefits-eligible, however, all positions are eligible for paid sick leave.

What We Require

Applicants should have completed a Master's degree or higher in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field by the start of the position.

What You Will Need

We are seeking candidates who possess a robust foundation in Cognitive Neural Science, along with knowledge of hardware and electrode design. Additionally, proficiency in Machine Learning, as well as expertise in Matlab, Python, C/C++, PyTorch, and TensorFlow, is highly desirable.

What We Would Like You to Have

Experience working with brain wave signals and wearable devices.
