Job description
This part-time positions will be responsible for assisting in academic research as part of the NSF-funded Dust across a Desert-Urban-Summit Transect (DUST^2) project. The positions will work approximately 10 hours each per week.

- collecting and managing air quality data
- participating in field site visits
- completing data analysis using computer software (e.g. Excel, ArcGIS)
- conducting literature reviews
- preparing oral or poster presentations for conferences
- attending and presenting at local, regional, or national scientific conferences
- assisting in preparation of research manuscripts
- regularly communicating with project leadership.
- Some college level course work in the environmental or physical sciences.
- Education or experience in data analysis and critical thinking.
- Intended major in atmospheric sciences, geography, geology, or a related field.
- Ability to learn necessary skills (e.g. software, field sampling)
- Time management
- Effective communication
