United Helpers, founded in 1898, is seeking two Residence Supervisors at our Rensselaer Falls IRA, who has the skills, compassion and commitment to deliver high-quality services to people in northern New York.

One opening is for a day shift supervisor, with the second opening being for an evening shift position.

Responsibilities include providing support and supervision of staff to ensure efficient and effective operation of the facility for their assigned shift, Educating, mentoring, and supporting program members in the development of daily living skills and habits, and helping to secure appropriate services, as well as recreational and community activities in accordance with the program member’s interests.

The position also includes conducting, scheduling, and evaluating fire drills, as well as completing and following up on necessary documentation and reports.

Applicants must be able to model and uphold standards of behavior and serve as a positive role model, mentor, and coach to the direct support professionals who staff the building.

A valid driver's license is required.
