Resident Services Manager I - Housing and Education
Job description
Job Summary: The Resident Services Manager will oversee Education Initiative programs, staff, and services at properties in Seattle, Kent, and other south sound locations. You will be visiting and working at multiple sites. The successful candidate will demonstrate compassion and have an understanding of the complexities of homelessness; co-morbidities; trauma; mental health and substance usage.

Duties:
- Work with RSM II Education Manager to ensure implementation, oversight and compliance of our Education and Housing Initiative.
- If there is a vacancy at a program, step in and provide direct services until a new employee is hired.
- Be familiar with the Education Initiative's goals, timeline, compliance and timeliness with meeting goals; work towards overall success of the Education Initiative.
- Hire, orient and provide direct supervision of Youth Initiative & School Liaison staff.
- Work closely with partners from the School Districts, HPASS, youth and housing organizations, and colleges/universities.
- Complete expenses and maintain education grant budgets, expenses, and compliance.
- Help operationalize our Education Initiatives by writing policies, procedures, and a manual to capture the work being done at MHNW within this initiative and identify ways to track our long-term goals and stories.
- Help create narratives that tell the story of our work and present information to partners, funders and MHNW supports in conjunction with the Education Manager.
- Track multiple assessment tools and outcomes, share insights and provide tools that staff can utilize that benefit residents and the education program.
- Coordinate and lead MHNW Back-to-School campaign and track outcomes.
- Ensure that Summer Programming is formalized and happening at all sites. Track outcomes and resident stories.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
- One (1) year of experience in community development or social service program development.
- Program and staff management experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Additional work experience.

- Intermediate to Advanced Proficiency of verbal, writing and listening skills.
- Perform basic computer functions using MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Demonstrate knowledge in data collection and analysis.
- Effectively motivate and supervise other staff, develop staff skills in support of resident and community programs and initiatives through training and mentoring.
