Residential Loan Processor – South Burlington, VT:

Job Description:

• Reviews residential loan application files to verify the accuracy and completeness.
• Orders and tracks title search requests, tax transcripts, social security verifications and written verifications of employment in addition to contacting insurance companies to update the Mortgage Clause.
• Sends commitment letters and appraisal copies to members.
• Handles majority of member contact and all external parties after the loan is originated always keeping the mortgage originator informed.
• Prepares monthly audits, ensuring files are complete and in compliance and sent to third party auditors and follow up assistance regarding findings from auditors or loan servicing.
• Deliver outstanding service that is in alignment with the Credit Union's Service Promises.

Requirements:

• One to three years of similar or related experience. Experience in a financial institution preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication, attention to detail, courtesy, and tact are essential elements.
• Commitment to the Credit Union’s Service Promises is required.
