Lakes Region Community Services, a non-profit social services agency, is currently recruiting employees excited to work in our Residential homes in our Laconia and Plymouth locations. The individuals that we serve have developmental disabilities and/or acquired brain disorders and require support to live as independently as possible. LRCS is always seeking great employees to join our team, but we are currently specifically seeking the right candidates for the following positions.
Direct Support Professionals (DSP)- Provide support to our individuals in the community and their homes, know and adhere to wheelchair and other medical equipment safety guidelines, provide medical and personal care as needed, meal prep and light housekeeping as needed. High school diploma or GED is required, clean criminal record, good driving record, two or four door vehicle, and automobile insurance. Pay range is from 15.11-16.10 per hour based on education and experience.
Overnight Direct Support Professionals-provide support to individuals by providing support in the community, know and adhere to wheelchair and other medical equipment safety guidelines, provide medical and personal care as needed, meal prep, light housekeeping. Pay ranges from $15.11-$16.10 per hour based on education and experience
Therapeutic Direct Support Professionals (TDSP)- Provide 1:1 and/or group support and intervention through crisis de-escalation and proactive behavior modification, monitor approved activities, provide staff modeling and monitoring to ensure therapeutic skills are implemented, behavioral logs are maintained and attend weekly clinical consultation/treatment team meetings. Associates degree or 60 credits towards Bachelors degree with 3 years work involving high risk individuals required. Must have a valid drivers license, clean criminal record, good driving record, two or four door vehicle, and automobile insurance. Pay range is from 15.72-17.24 based on education and experience.
Residential House Manager for Behavioral Treatment Program-Responsible for all facets of the daily operation and management of the homes. Assures the regular, direct supervision of Direct Support Professionals. This includes performance evaluations, developing and monitoring staff development plans, and disciplinary action as needed. Plan and facilitate monthly staff meetings , provide direct support as needed, demonstrate the competency, or willingness to learn complex medical and/or behavioral procedures performed in the home, maintain ability to administer medications for all individuals, ensure the homes meet all the agency's procedures and all state/federal licensure/certification requirements. The House Manager must participate in on-call rotation for after-hours coverage and be willing to respond to emergencies after normal working hours. The ideal candidate will have familiarity with medical procedures and terms as well as behavioral protocols, have the ability to pass and maintain certification for med administration, and be willing to work nights and weekends as needed. Must be willing to travel. Candidates will possess a Bachelors degree or equivalent Human Services or related field. Relevant 2 years' experience may be substituted. Valid drivers license, reliable vehicle, automobile insurance, a clean criminal record, and good driving record are all required.
Lakes Region Community Services is currently offering a sign-on bonus of $750 after 60 days of employment to all newly hired Direct Support Professionals! Ask us about our current shift differentials as well!
