We are looking for a Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional (QIDP). You will provide leadership and direction to a team providing care and training to clients with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their own home. You ensure the house’s condition and a safe work and living environment, and act as a representative with internal and external partners. You will model person-centered support by facilitating a positive work environment, developing success strategies, and opportunities designed to promote a safe and meaningful life for all individuals receiving services.

Who you are:

• Take pride in managing up to 18 residents in three (3) 24-hour ICF-DD-H residential facilities (“Group Homes”)
• Ensure shift schedules and staff to resident ratios
• An advocate with active observation for the rights and best interests of adults with intellectual or developmental disabilities

A typical day will include:

• Providing case management support and oversight for clients that encompasses culturally appropriate meaningful activities to residents using person-centered approaches and strategies that fully engage and include residents in each aspect of their daily life, have maximum choice and control, and gain independence
• Scheduling and attending coordinated client service planning meetings
• Assessing effectiveness of authorized hours through service delivery and staff performance
• Responding to and advising multiple oversight agencies on corrective and recommended actions
• Overseeing staffing schedules for the houses, serving as on-call contact person, and providing shift coverage as necessary

What you’ll need to be successful:

• Have one (1) or more years of supervisory experience
• B.A. in associated subject matter
• Have one (1) or more year(s) experience providing direct services to people with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities
• Valid CA Driver’s License with clean driving record; Own transportation to multiple work sites

We’d love it if you:

• Are experienced using electronic case management systems (Therap)
• Had experience as a QIDP or Residential House Supervisor

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $66,588.00 - $70,000.00 per year
