Residential Senior Supervisor
Job description
Summary/Objective
The primary role of the Residential Senior Supervisor is to ensure that all of the needs of the people supported in FREE’s EATP and ATP programs are met while working in partnership with each team. These needs include, but are not limited to, ensuring their rights are both promoted and respected, supporting their health and safety and working with them to identify and realize their personal outcomes. In order to accomplish this, the Residential Senior Supervisor leads a team including Residential Supervisors and Community Support Specialists, in conjunction with clinical providers that work alongside the people supported to develop plans to meet the individuals’ needs. The Residential Senior Supervisor is also responsible for ensuring that these plans are both followed and documented in an appropriate and timely manner.
Essential Job Functions
In addition to being responsible for all of the Essential Job Functions of the Residential Supervisor, as needed, the Residential Senior Supervisors’ Essential Job Functions include, but are not limited to, the following:
Effectively communicate and support the organization’s mission, vision and values
Direct oversight of the Residential Supervisor in their role and responsibilities
Ensure that the rights, health, safety and personal outcomes of the people living in the program are being supported at all times
Ensure that all required documentation is completed appropriately and in a timely manner
Communicate with the people we support, family members, community representatives and external providers in a professional, respectful manner
Work in partnership with external providers (employers, day services, etc.) to ensure that all supports and services provided are in alignment and designed to meet the needs of the people living in the program on an ongoing basis. Address performance issues through performance improvement or corrective action measures
Manage team members’ time worked in the residence while ensuring there are sufficient team members to meet the needs of the people living in the program at all times
On-call responsibilities

Education, Work Experience, and Competencies
18 years of age or older
Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field preferred
3 or more years of supervisory experience and 1 or more years of experience providing mental health services
Valid driver’s license with no more than 8 points (where applicable)
Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
Daily standing, bending and lifting
