The Ground Round at River's Edge in Oshkosh is seeking an outgoing, positive individual to join our family-like team as a Host. If you love coming into work with a smile on your face and a willingness to help others, this is the place for you! $150 bonus after 90-days.
Job Duties:
- Greet and seat guests
- Interact with guests as they arrive and as they leave the restaurant to ensure a positive dining experience
- Take guest information and quote wait times to guests accurately when tables are not immediately available
- Observe tables and keep track of clean, dirty, and occupied tables
- Clean, organize, and stock menus at host area
- Answer phone and respond to questions concerning the menu and restaurant
- Maintain restrooms throughout shift
- Sweep foyer and front entrance area frequently
Job Requirements:
- Must have excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and be organized.
- Ability to project a professional, friendly and courteous image to guests.
- Must be detail-oriented.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work weekends and holidays.
