Title: Sales Associate
Location: Little Falls (Main) and St. Cloud, MN
Hours: FT and PT

When you work with us you are a part of everything: nursery design, helping customers select car seats and strollers, assisting with baby registries, selling toys, helping customers choose gifts, gift-wrapping, social media, planning events, marketing, community events, the daily ins-and-outs of a retail store (just to name a few things), and MORE!! Must be passionate about all things parenthood and baby, high-energy, driven to succeed and have a willingness to learn – all while having FUN.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Great customers and provide exceptional service to create a unique experience
• Provide accurate information (e.g. product features, pricing and after-sales services) and answer customer questions about specific products/services
• Conduct price and feature comparisons and suggest in-stock options to facilitate purchasing
• Stay up-to-date with new products/services
• Use of POS system for customer check-out, sales, and orders
• Answer customer phone calls and website/social media questions
• Ensure shelves and merchandise displays are neatly stocked, priced and organized
• Monitor and report on store inventory for accuracy
• Process and ship web orders in a timely manner
• Collaborate with team members for events and high-traffic days
• Communicate clearly to the store management team
• General daily cleaning
• Other duties as assigned

Physical Demands:

• Ability to stock merchandise; ability to place or move product, weighing up to 70 pounds
• Regularly required to stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, go up/down stairs and walk about the store
• Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation

Qualifications:

• Experience providing high level, prompt and courteous customer service
• Operate a Point of Sale register efficiently and accurately
• Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
• Ability to stay organized, give attention to detail, follow instructions and multi-task in a professional and efficient manner
• Provide on-brand gift wrap services quickly
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior work experience in a retail environment
• A combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge

Pay: From $14.00 per hour
