OVERVIEW

The Retail Marketing Manager will design and implement effective marketing strategies to build our brand and increase customer traffic to our brick-and-mortar stores and website - ensuring an authentic Soccer Experience in-store and online. For this role you should understand the full marketing mix and be familiar with ways to analyze market research and customer behavior. You should also be able to create spreadsheets and analyze quantitative data to interpret ROI and KPI metrics. Ultimately, you will help establish our brand in the market in a way that customers easily identify and select our company’s products and services.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support the company Mission and Vision and embody the Soccer Post company values.
• Develop, manage and execute a marketing calendar to increase brand awareness.
• Operate email marketing database for in-store and digital marketplaces (i.e. Klaviyo) in conjunction with the marketing calendar.
• Manage in-store membership and rewards program in conjunction with the above (TapMango)
• Create and execute national in-store branding support initiatives to help drive foot-traffic to our nationwide locations.
• Conduct research to identify market trends and target customers’ preferences
• Ensure strong brand presence in online and offline channels
• Research competition and identify opportunities for growth
• Work with our Digital Team to design branding materials
• Report to Supervisor on the results of brand initiatives
• Perform other related duties as assigned, including helping in other departments during slower periods of time.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

• BS/BA in Marketing, Communication, Business or related field
• Minimum 3+ years experience in brand management preferred
• Familiarity with latest marketing trends and best practices
• Ability to conduct research and analyze data
• High level of attention to detail
• Excellent organizational skills
• Experience and comfort with meeting tight deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must be a team-player with a creative mindset
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Suite
• Ability to become proficient in the use of Klaviyo & TapMango to execute our brand initiatives.

REQUIREMENTS

• Must be able to lift 15 lbs at times.
• Must be able to traverse and access all areas of our retail, warehouse and office spaces.
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Must be able to periodically travel to industry events, customer locations for Soccer Post facilities
• This is an in-person position, based in Eatontown, NJ

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $20.00 per hour
