RETAIL – Store Operations Lead

General Summary:
As Operations Lead, you will be supporting the front of house and sales team deliver exceptional experiences by always making sure the store is set up for success through organizational and operational excellence. In this role, your primary focus will be ensuring back and front of house cleanliness and organization – Also maintaining data integrity for your location through the operation functions of shipping, receiving, and transfers. With oversight and support from the
Store Manager, you will be the gatekeeper of all products in and out of store, including store to store transfers and drop ships for online clients. We firmly believe that the back of house is heartbeat of our businesses, which is why this is such an integral role on our store team. This role reports directly to the Store Manager.
Customer Experience & Business Performance Focus:
- Accurately receive retail goods upon arrival from distribution or third party.
- Receive & tag all retail product by all company standards.
- Ensure that all merchandise is processed on a timely basis in accordance with the retail store hours.
- Keep record of incoming Purchase Orders and vouchers for accurate accounting procedures and third-party payments.
- Ensure that all goods received are always stored in their proper areas and all styles are properly represented on sales floor.
- Inspect the condition and the quality of all items at the time they are received and before they are put away.
- Inform management in the event of any returns, shortages, or no-show deliveries immediately – effectively reconciling with the product team and Distribution Center.
- Fulfill all online order drop ships to end user customers on a 24-hour basis.
- Cross functionally assists and lead the charge on quarterly cycle counts performed at the store level.
- Ensure the stock room inventory is constantly in correct size and style order and tagged accurately.
- Always conduct self in a professional manner to reflect the high standards of Lucchese.
- Address and schedule any maintenance needs within the store with partnership of the
Store Manager.
- Assist as a support during peak times to get product quickly and efficiently to the sales team to provide a seamless experience.

Physical Requirements:
- Standing for extended periods of time
- Able to safely lift boxes up to 40 pounds
- Comfortable climbing ladders
- Must be 18 years of age

Experience:
- 2+ years retail, stockroom, or warehouse experience (Required)
