Florida Organics by Canviiy is hiring a Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Orlando International Airport (MCO) in Orlando, Florida. As a Retail Sales Associate, you'll be responsible for providing excellent guest service and managing all transactions accurately and efficiently in our Beauty / Retail Gift Kiosk Concept.

Position starts at $15.50/hr + Medical

Retail Sales Associate:

A Sales Associate is responsible for the daily execution of the Mission Statement, which includes providing First Class Service to both internal and external customers. The Sales Associate may perform tasks on the sales floor or in a support environment (ie storage transfer, inventory). This position ensures a positive customer shopping experience in a well-maintained and friendly environment.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Demonstrate selling experience in a fast-paced, service-oriented retail setting
  • Demonstrated ability to Greet, Sell and Thank the customer, including being able to help educate the customer and make recommendations
  • Put the customer first at all times
  • Provide memorable, highly personalized customer service through needs analyses and product recommendations
  • Processes sale with the appropriate point of sale system accepts payment, counts change, and bags merchandise.
  • Be able to resolve customer service issues and escalate as required
  • Create and maintain good working relationships with fellow associates and management
  • Maintain kiosk appearance with respect to visual merchandising, housekeeping, sanitation, and maintenance standards
  • Efficiently and accurately conduct customer transactions on our POS
  • Efficiently and accurately conduct receiving, cycle counts, inventory, product returns, transfer transactions, etc.
  • Efficiently and accurately complete any required process controls (paperwork, etc.)
  • Follow company policies and procedures and maintain a safe working environment (including COVID protocols)
  • Present themselves in a clean and tidy manner, inclusive of work uniform
  • Understands and complies with Cashier Functions, Cash Handling and Loss Prevention Standard Operating Procedures
  • Verify till /drawer cash at the beginning and the end of each shift.
  • Maintains records related to sales.
  • Routinely stocks merchandise and faces items on shelves.
  • Maintains orderly back-stock and knows where goods are to be found.
  • Completes all related close-out paperwork.
  • Capable of following job guidelines and supervisors' instructions, performing other duties as assigned.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of one year of retail or customer service experience preferred
  • Ability to work various shifts in a 7/365 team orientated environment
  • Excellent customer service skills and an ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Self-starter able to prioritize and handle various tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and unexpected situations
  • Proficiency required in reading, writing, and mathematics
  • Ability to pass the Federal Criminal History Records Check, Florida Organics Background Check, and the applicable FAA requirements Department of Transportation requirements
  • Physical Qualifications Include:
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
  • Ability to stand for long periods, potentially the length of the shift
  • Bending, reaching, and climbing
  • Ability to walk up and down stairs frequently
  • Visual acuity sufficient to see and distinguish merchandise and operate a point-of-sale system
