Overview -
Store Managers are fully responsible for our retail locations. They take responsibility for the store as if it was their own: assuring it’s well-stocked, compliant, and welcoming to customers. Store Managers will reliably support the Retail Operations manager, Controller and Company Owner in enforcing policies and procedures at the retail level. Store Managers oversee all facets of their retail location on a day-to-day and strategic level, focusing on short and long-term successes. As leaders, they think critically, apply appropriate judgment, confront challenges regularly, and resolve issues.

Duties -
- Inventory
- Intake of new products
- Metrc transfers
- PO’ing new products
- Creating new product items in Biotrack
- Re-ordering / ordering products with Retail Ops Approval
- Tracking of inventory par levels
- Keeping shelves stocked
- Selling through product without loss (expiration dates)
- Maintaining online menus
- Schedule writing
- Covering shifts when needed
- Keeping track of labor costs and vacation time
- Cash handling
- Accurately reporting and keeping till sheets current
- Maintaining change bank for location
- Ordering change for location
- Preparing deposits
- Paying vendors per approval
- Spot checks with drawer drops, accuracy from staff and debit reader
- Troubleshooting all cash handling issues with the assistance of the accounting department and retail operations
- Daily operations
- Store cleanliness
- Supplies ordered in a timely manner
- Audits and checks completed in a timely manner
- Communication with staff and network is kept regularly
- Delegating tasks to assistants, leads and budtending staff
- HR - hiring staff, disciplinary action, on-boarding new employees, new hire paperwork, creating profiles in systems
- Employee training
- Building and maintaining employee morale within the store
- Compliance knowledge within state and local regulations
- Inventory Audits completed thoroughly (adjustments reported to retail ops / compliance teams and made in metrc)
- Sales floor audits 1-2 times daily
- Backstock audits 1-2 times weekly
- Full store audits 1-2 times monthly
- Maintain a passing monthly internal compliance audit
- Address issues and deductions in a timely manner
- Offer retraining when applicable
- Sales Goals
- Maintaining, meeting and exceeding store sales goals
- Remaining in contact with the accounting department and retail ops teams to collaborate different ways to meet expectations
- Coaching staff on daily goals, UPT, ADT, specials and marketing strategies
- All other duties as assigned by supervisors and other departments outside of retail
