$20.00 per hour and $0.30 per mile. Increase to $25.00 per hour after completion of 20 tastings.

And we want you to help us to share our passion with the public at large. The Retail Tasting Ambassador (RTA) is the face of Journeyman in the field. This person is vital in creating an intimate connection between our brand and our customers.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES:

• Engage with customers shopping for spirits at retail locations.
• Sample Journeyman Distillery spirits straight or mixed with consumers
• Available Weekdays Wed-Fri (5pm-8pm) & Weekends (noon-3pm / 3:30pm–6:30pm)
• Peak times are Fridays and Saturdays
• Clearly communicate to consumers our “brand story” to create purchase & adoption
• Check ID’s before serving to ensure of legal limit
• Create relationships with store employees to better position Journeyman brands
• Assist with local event execution as requested by Journeyman
• Pick-up & drop-off of materials at distillery, distributor office or with field sales team as needed
• Driving to & from retail stores and being timely for all activities
• Reliable schedule without cancelations once tastings/events are booked
• Timely communication of availability every month/quarter
• Perform any other tasks requested by the management, the company or the owner.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Must have or be able to obtain a valid driver’s license.
• Must have ability and willingness to travel up to 30 miles for events.
• Must be at least 21 years of age or older to apply.
• Must hold up to date required permit to serve alcohol per state – Reimbursment after completion of 5 tastings.
• Significant work experience in customer service preferred
• Experience executing tastings and events is preferred
• Bar/Restaurant/Bartending background is a plus, spirits knowledge preferred
