THIS IS A REMOTE POSITION
Position summary: Assist and support users, IS computer operators and Management in prevention, detection, diagnosis and resolution of computer related problems related to Business Services information systems (patient appointments, registration, contract management, insurance billing, cash posting, insurance collection, guarantor billing, guarantor collections, etc.). Maintains and monitors the Business Services information system to ensure they are operational, on current version, revising system set up and creating new tools to achieve best practice with operation processes. May perform other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications: [Required] High school or equivalent. Minimum of three (3) years of experience with patient appointments, registration and insurance verification or billing, collections and contract management for hospital operations. Strong PC skills (MS Windows, particularly in Excel & Access)
[Preferred] Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or 4 years' experience in computer support. Knowledge of computer software, networking, troubleshooting/problem solving and customer service skills.
