The Company:

Our client is a top energy services provider and has been servicing the Houston area for over 20 years. They believe that customer service is at the core of all they do. It is their top priority and drives continuous design, and process enhancements. They are looking for a full-time direct hire Revenue Management Specialist to join their team for $22-$24/hr. This position is located in the Cypress area.

The Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate would have extensive revenue management experience and would have experience with financial analysis and reporting. They would have an advanced knowledge in Excel, Python. SQL, SOQL and Tableau. This candidate would have a bachelor’s degree

The Expectations:

  • Develops and implements controls and reporting often starting with a non-standard and manual pilot
  • Conducts analysis of all solar system production for billing and production guarantee purposes
  • Creates/defines processes to measure billing accuracy, timeliness, and success for custom products
  • Prepares billing and financial reporting and analysis for the revenue management team; including but not limited to
  • Coordinates and work directly with cross functional teams to analyze and adjust processes and functionality.
  • Maintains a weekly prioritized list of defects, user stories and projects for the revenue management organization.
  • As needed: assists with project planning, testing, and implementation of automated processes to assist with data and analysis
  • Supports collections and billing teams with early true up and production ratios as needed
  • Supports financing, month end close, and other critical tasks as necessary

The Goal:

The Revenue Management is comprised of the billing, payment processing, collections and credit/ under-writing functions. This role is charged with streamlining and expanding upon current structures in place by defining, documenting, implementing, and measuring both manual and automated processes to ensure accurate and timely invoicing and analysis.

The Experience and Education:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience in Excel, Python, SQL, SOQL and Tableau
  • Revenue management experience
