ViaPath is seeking a RMA Receiving Tech that will work closely with all related departments to meet internal priorities and requests on a daily basis. This position will need to follow work instructions to correctly carry out the assignments. This position is primarily responsible for receiving and sorting equipment based on equipment type and model, as well as tracking those receipts in the multiple applications used.
Responsibilities:
- Handle day-to-day RMA receiving tasks and objectives
- Count and sort equipment based on make and model
- Use computer-based applications to accurately track movement of equipment
- Identify products for vendor return
- Inventory management including physical inventory transfers within departments
- Manage timely processing of RMAs to meet Service Agreements
- Maintain daily productivity and prioritize open issues
- Maintain, review and update process documentation on a regular basis; creating new documents as required
- Work closely with internal departments such as Production, Tablet Repair, Shipping/Receiving, Operations, Customer Service/Technical Support, Field Services and Engineering as required
- 0-1 year of RMA receiving experience
- Excellent in written, interpersonal communications and organization skills
- Strong attention to detail and good time management
- Be a motivated self-starter and to learn quickly and apply new knowledge effectively
- Multi-tasking with effective decision making
- Independent person while also being a strong team player
- Proficient with MS office
- Demonstrate the composure required to perform effectively under stressful situations
- Possess good problem solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to lift 50lbs
- Extensive walking and repetitive physical motion (squatting, bending, lifting, climbing ladders) is required
