Logan Regional Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) House Supervisor to lead our team of nurses and administrative staff to coordinate quality patient care. We are a 132-bed acute care facility in Logan, West Virginia focused on quality and progressive patient care. LRMC is fully accredited by The Joint Commission. We offer a full range of healthcare services in a modern and well-equipped facility. Our services include a 24/7 Emergency Department (Level 4 Trauma and ACC Accredited Chest Pain Center), ICU/CCU, Pediatric Unit, an award-winning Wound Care Center, Nutrition Counseling, Physical / Speech / Occupational Therapy, Inpatient Physical Rehab, Respiratory Therapy, Sleep Lab, Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology, Cardiac Rehab, Speech Therapy, Obstetrics, Pediatrics, Hospitalist Services, Pulmonology, Medical Oncology, Infusion Services, and ongoing community education. Surgical services include both inpatient & outpatient services in the specialties of general surgery, laparoscopic surgery, urology, GI / endoscopic, orthopedics, ophthalmology, GYN, Podiatry, and ENT. General Surgery and GYN Surgery are performed utilizing a recently added DaVinci X robot. LRMC has a full range of diagnostic imaging, including 3D Mammography, Fluoroscopy, MRI, PET, two 64-slice CT’s, Nuclear Medicine, Bone Densitometry, and Ultrasound. The RN House Supervisor will be responsible for but not limited to the following responsibilities:
· Supervises and coordinates patient care processes throughout the hospital during assigned shift to assure safe, quality patient care. Assures appropriate staffing levels based on census and patient acuity.
· Supervises and coordinates ancillary services personnel after normal hours of operation, on weekends, and holidays.
· Monitors activities of staff, takes immediate action when indicated and recommends disciplinary action to Nurse Manager as necessary.
· Provides direct patient care as necessary to assure quality care of patients.
· Contributes to the development of policies and procedures and standards of care/practice for the nursing department.
· Participates in continuous monitoring and evaluation of performance improvement activities. Actively participates in hospital and nursing committees as assigned.
· Utilizes effective interpersonal communication skills with all members of the healthcare team, patients, and families/visitors. Always maintains patient and employee confidentiality.
· Participates in community activities as requested to promote wellness and the hospital. Attends management and committee meetings as scheduled.

Minimum Education
Associate Degree in Nursing Required.
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing Preferred.
Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Certifications / Licenses:
WV RN License or Multistate Compact RN License.
Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR.
ACLS Suggested.
PALS Suggested.
12 Lead ECG Suggested.
