Rio Grande Urology is currently looking for a PRN/Part-Time Registered Nurse to join our Advanced Prostate Cancer team!

The Infusion Nurse provides infusion services for cancer patients and serves as a contact person for RGU patients and their families. This registered nurse demonstrates critical thinking and uses the nursing process to assess and meet the needs of patients by providing clinical care during the administration of infusion treatments. She works closely with the Nurse Navigator, cancer team, and physicians to coordinate the delivery of quality nursing care In the infusion center. This individual provides support and patient education to improve health and quality of life.

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree in nursing required. Master’s degree in nursing or related healthcare field preferred.

Licensed in the state of Texas as a Registered Nurse in good standing

ACLS certified

EXPERIENCE

Minimum of three years of experience in health care including one year of experiencein oncology and/ or infusion therapy. Clinical experience with urology and/or oncology patients is desirable.

Job Types: Part-time, PRN

Pay: $50.00 per hour
