If you are a Registered Nurse with experience in Acute Care and Intensive Unit, please read on! Our client is currently looking for a RN- Nursing Neurocare Acute to join their team.

Intensive Care Unit Nurses must provide top end care for patients with life-threatening medical conditions. Intensive Care Unit Nurses must have the ability to make timely and spot on decisions while keeping composed during unpredictable, traumatic events.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Intensive Care Unit Nurses duties consist of:

• Analyzing the progress of the patient.
• Following the correct process if the patient’s condition changes.
• Helping doctors with medical procedures.
• Making sure all medical devices are functioning correctly while taking care of patients.
• Supplying necessary medication in a fast moving, highly stressful environment.
• Providing emotional support while updating family members of current health status of the patient.

REQUIREMENTS

Two year of experience as an Intensive Care Unit Nurse

• Active Nursing License in good standing.
• Current Basic Life Support through American Heart Association.
• Certification and/or Licensure: NCLEX-RN
• Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
• Negative Drug Screen.

Shift: 12H Nights

• On call required
• Holidays and weekends required
• Must be willing to work on call (5 days) during the 13 weeks contract
• Must be willing to work as a charge nurse, differential pay applies

Contractor detail:

• Contract length: 13 Weeks
• Contract Hour: 36 hours/week
• Weekly Pay rate: $1,440
• Weekly Stipend: $1,100
• Weekly Gross Pay: $2,540
• Base Pay: $40/hour
• OT Pay: $60/hour
• Holiday pay: Base pay * 1.5
• Charge Nurse: Base Pay + 2
• Call Back: Base Pay + 2

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $70.00 - $72.00 per hour
