- Skills: The following experience is required: 2 years of acute med/surg experience IV insertion and phlebotomy skill conscious sedation experience
- Education: RN License - required Primary Source Verification - required AHA BLS - required AHA ACLS - required IV Certification - required
- Certifications & Licenses: IV Certification - RN License
- Procedure RN is responsible for assisting with patient education, administering conscious sedation and monitoring patients throughout procedure and recovery.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to demonstrate a high degree of competence and expertise in the medical office setting.
- Capable of prioritizing and following through on tasks and assignments.
- Positively adapts to changed and new technology.
- Demonstrate professional conduct at all times
- Understand the appropriate technique of equipment handling, cleaning and sterilization.
- Maintain a collaborative team philosophy within the clinic.
- Excellent customer service skills - able to communicate courteously and effectively to patients.
- Enjoy working with people, being a team player and willing to help others with tasks.
- Must be able to communicate professionally both verbally and in writing with physicians, clinic staff and patients.
