Position Description: RN
BayCare Health System is currently seeking a Registered Nurse to join our outstanding and compassionate Observation Medical/Surgical team at St. Joseph’s Hospital. As part of the community since 1934, St. Joseph’s Hospital has been a partner for continued health and wellness.
The RN responsibilities include:
- Caring for a group of patients with minimum supervision applying the nursing process and clinical standards.
- Delegating appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team.

Qualifications:
Certifications and Licensures:
- BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification is required
- RN (Registered Nurse) license is required
- ACLS Certification, if required by department
- Nurse Specialty certification is preferred
Education:
- Associates degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma is required
- Bachelors degree in Nursing is preferred
Experience:
- 6 months of RN experience in acute care or 3 months RN experience in acute care with prior LPN experience and completed competency assessment is required.
