RN Supervisor
Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center is a 537- bed (including 100 nursing home beds) teaching hospital and a member of Catholic Health Services of Long Island. The Rn supervisor is responsible for the safety and comfort of residents and the health and safety of employees while providing supervision for the facility.
Responsibilities:
- Administers nursing care to residents as needed/assigned
- Plans resident care utilizing the nursing process and individualizing the needs of each resident
- Initiates a teaching plan based on resident/family learning needs
- Performs required procedures with knowledge and skill
- Attends supervisory meetings as scheduled
- Licensure as a Registered Professional Nurse by NY State
- Long Term Care experience preferred
