Job description
The RN provides direct patient care using the nursing process in accordance within applicable scope and standards of practice. Will be responsible for selecting, preparing and placing instruments and supplies in a specified order. Scrubbing for procedures as a scrub nurse/scrub assistant. Will be responsible for identifying, disassembling, decontaminating, inspecting, assembling and processing of all reusable supplies and patient care equipment used in the hospital.
PRN, as needed. Current TN or Multi-State RN licensure. BLS required within 90 days of employment. ACLS/PALS/NRP required within 12 months of employment. CNOR preferred. One to two years OR experience preferred; on-call will be required.
