Nexeo HR is looking to add professional Roadway Design Engineers to our industry-leading team. Hiring in both Phoenix and Tucson, Arizona.

Responsibilities

• Design and analysis of freeways, interstate highways, interchanges, urban and rural roadways, and shared-use trails
• Prepare studies, reports, plans, specifications, and cost estimates for a wide variety of transportation projects
• Support project managers with client relations, stakeholder management, and sub-consultant coordination
• Work within a team of project managers, design engineers, technicians, and support staff to successfully complete a variety of projects
• Take ownership of projects from start to finish

Qualifications

• Experience and relationships with transportation agencies preferred
• Knowledge and experience with Bentley Open Roads, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and other applicable software common to the field of transportation engineering are desired
• Solid organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
• Ability to interact with clients and multi-discipline team members
• Willingness to work on projects locally or in workshare with other offices
• Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited program in civil engineering
• Engineering in Training (EIT) certificate, ability to sit for Professional Engineering Exam within 1-year, or PE
• Minimum three (3) years of experience with roadway/highway and urban street design
• Knowledge and experience with Microstation, InRoads and/or Geopak, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and other applicable software common to the field of transportation engineering
• Municipal and/or Department of Transportation experience
• Hydraulics and traffic experience is a plus

Pay

$100,000-$125,000 per year
