Overview
The main responsibility of this role is to clean, replenish, and handle general operational matters for Cafe X’s Robotic Coffee Bar systems at San Francisco Airport. Cafe X currently has one machine in Terminal 3 and one machine in Termainal 1.
This is a part time role and is expected to require around 20 - 30 hours per week. Your schedule may include working on Saturday and/or Sunday. Each shift will include tasks such as receiving inventory at our headquarters, transporting supplies to the airport, cleaning robotic coffee systems, performing periodic and emergency maintenance, assisting with testing and deployment of new features and menu items, responding to customer support emails, and other general operations related tasks.

What to expect
Prior experience is not required. Cafe X will provide training, but we are looking for people who are really good at, and enjoy keeping things clean and tidy. You will be driving a compact commercial van to transport supplies, and be prepared to walk a few miles within the airport each day going between the van and each Robotic Coffee Bar location. You will also be lifting items such as boxes of ice, coffee beans, and many gallons of milk. Cafe X is a small startup, so you will have the opportunity to help out with other roles at the company such as building robots/machines, testing with engineers, marketing projects, travel to B2B customer locations for training and maintenance.

Example of a typical shift (4 - 5 hours)
1. Pack supplies (ice, milk, coffee, kegs, powders, cups, lids, etc.) and load into van at Cafe X office in South San Francisco.
2. Drive van and park at SFO Terminal 3 (~5 minute drive).
3. Unload van, walk into terminal, go through TSA, walk to machine 1.
4. Start cleaning and restocking (~45 mins).
5. Return to van, drive and park van at Terminal 1.
6. Unload van, walk into termainl, go through TSA, walk to machine 2.
7. Start cleaning and restocking.
8. Return to van, return to Cafe X office.
9. Cleaning containers, preparing RTD beverages, inventory organization at Cafe X office.

Coffee machine maintenance
You may also be required to assist in performance maintenance (deep cleaning, troubleshooting, repairs) with WMF-brand automated espresso machines. Prior experience is not required but would be helpful for this role.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $21.50 - $28.00 per hour
