Position Summary:

The Route Driver supports the portable toilet division by operating the vehicle and delivering, removing, exchanging portable toilets.

CDL preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Drives the vehicle and operates the truck in a safe manner, reducing the risk of injury to personnel and property damage.
• Safety completes daily service routes in sequence as routed by dispatch personnel.
• Servicing, cleaning and stocking portable toilets, holding tanks, fresh water systems, hand wash stations and restroom-shower trailers as needed.
• Responsible for completing daily routes, while maintaining professional customer contact and open lines of communication with Dispatcher.
• Assess conditions of portable toilets while on route to determine servicing needs.
• Communicates effectively with Customer Service to maintain accuracy of schedule, report errors or changes, and report container conditions.
• Properly utilizes all required Personal Protective Equipment and truck safety equipment while following all required safety procedures.
• Complete daily logs and paperwork as needed.

Education and Experience

• Valid driver license. CDL preferred but not required
• Minimum 2 years experience driving box/large trucks
• Able to read and write legibly
• Able to comply with company policy on controlled substances and alcohol
• Positive safety record
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Commitment to customer service
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
