Job description

Our organization seeks an individual to supervise and oversee our site's safety practices. We're looking for a capable Safety Manager who can effectively manage employees while providing appropriate training and the necessary equipment to do their jobs. The ideal candidate for this position will have prior experience as a Safety Manager, a commitment to supporting the well-being of their team members, and the ability to coordinate with management to create an environment conducive to a safe work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Communicate workplace safety hazards to workers.
• Assess workplace safety hazards and implement corrective measures.
• Ensure that the workplace is a safe and secure environment.
• Develop safety policies, programs, and plans, including training and education of workers regarding safety regulations.
• Perform safety inspections of equipment, equipment installations, machinery, workplaces, etc., to determine compliance with standards and regulations for safe equipment operation.
• Ensure appropriate state and federal agencies comply with all applicable occupational health and safety laws and regulations.
• Conduct investigations into workplace accidents to identify causes and implement corrective measures.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $67,441.00 - $72,483.00 per year
