SUMMARY:

Responsible for marketing of the community to prospective residents and general community by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Assists Director of Sales in marketing the community.
  • Conducts marketing tours of prospective residents and other guests as requested by the Director of Sales and Marketing. Gathers information and provides a summary to the Director of Sales and Marketing to determine appropriate follow up.
  • Accepts payments and processes paperwork through Business Operations accordingly.
  • Assists prospective residents with unit selection, including selection of options. Works closely with the Move in Coordinator to schedule a move-in date.
  • Assists move in coordinator, as needed, to ensure that apartment is ready for resident move-in. Completes work orders and completes final walk-through of apartment when needed.
  • Coordinates and participates in the move-in process with other members of the Move-In team.
  • Maintains contact with clients on the wait list.
  • Tracks and monitors sales of apartment units.
  • Monitors files for required information, notifies all related departments and resident committees.
  • Coordinates events and functions. Assists with planning of all aspects of event and its execution, under the direction of the Director of Sales.
  • Maintains department supply inventory, places orders as required.
  • Assists Director of Sales and team in developing the marketing goals and strategy
  • Assists Director of Sales and Marketing with prospect communication as directed
  • Inputs prospect information on a timely basis and maintains Sherpa database
  • May act as community or organization representative at various community or senior advocacy meetings and events.
  • Prepares marketing reports as needed and directed by Director of Sales and Marketing
  • Performs special duties as assigned by the Marketing Director or his/her designee.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or two years related experience and/or training.
  • Previous experience in senior living industry preferred.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations. Ability to write reports, and business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from prospects, residents, volunteers, or employees of the organization and the general public.
  • Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
