The Sales Assistant is responsible for greeting and assisting customers and providing administrative assistance to the Outside Sales Professional as designated.

RESPONSIBILITES

  • Greet all visitors to the model home in an effort to assist the Outside Sales Representative determine the visitor needs and preferences.
  • Provide appropriate marketing materials and emphasize key selling messages.
  • Assist Outside Sales Professionals to ensure visitors are accompanied through model and inventory homes and questions are appropriately answered.
  • Assist in visitor registration process and document information into system.
  • Demonstrate the benefits and features of the model and inventory homes.
  • Answer phone calls and provide information in a prompt and professional manner.
  • Maintain daily model home and completed inventory home appearance and open and close model home and completed inventory homes when requested.
  • Provide administrative assistance to the Outside Sales Professional as designated.
  • Prepare contracts and any addenda as directed by the Outside Sales professional.
  • At the direction of the Outside Sales Professional, track the progress of all pending contracts and paperwork and follow up when needed.
  • In the absence of the Outside Sales Professional, the Sales Assistant may work with prospective purchasers to conduct preliminary interviews and make sales presentations.
  • Assist the Outside Sales Professional with marketing events.
  • From time to time, must complete projects with short notice in extreme time constraints.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
  • Excellent customer service skills are required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
  • Light typing, filing, faxing and miscellaneous administrative skills are required.
  • Current, valid Driver’s License, acceptable driving record, and available transportation to lead customers to various inventory home locations.
