Off Broadway Shoes is looking for Sales Associates and Cashiers
*Summary of Position: Interact with and provide assistance to customers on the sales floor. Strive to meet or exceed all sales and operational goals established by the store management team. Assists with product placement as needed and maintain a neat and inviting selling area. Is cross-trained to serve as a cashier when requested by management.
Duties and Responsibility: • Assist customers by answering questions and locating specific merchandise• Maintain awareness of all current sales promotions• Maintain merchandise presentation by following established standards, including display shoe guidelines and SKUchecking• Develop basic product knowledge and fitting skills• When performing cashier functions all sales will be processed in accordance with existing policy and procedure. All shoes will be checked for mates.• Maintain an awareness of Loss Prevention concerns involving customers an fellow staff members• Participate in physical inventories, assist in shipping and receiving merchandise and participate in merchandise placement on the sales floor when needed.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Basic math, verbal and written communication skills
Good organizational skills
Strong interpersonal skills necessary to interact with customers and store personnel
Retail sales experience
Basic visual merchandising skills

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $10.50 per hour
