Hawkeye Hotels is currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of Sales

Coordinator supporting the Courtyard Milwaukee North/Brown Deer, Fairfield Inn and Suites Brookfield and the Holiday Inn Express Brookfield

As the Area Sales Coordinator you will be expected to keep the sales effort organized at one or more properties and be responsible for assisting the Sales Team and area hotels with administrative tasks related to sales, marketing, and revenue management.

Primary job duties include but are not limited to:

  • Receive all incoming phone calls in a positive and engaging dialogue, qualifying each potential sales lead for assigned hotels.
  • Assist in managing and maintaining manual sales file organization and consistency. All market segments
  • Engage in verbal and written correspondence for the sales effort in a timely manner: contracts, evaluations, thank you letters, etc.
  • Assist with design and production of all marketing pieces including: Menus, flyers, mailings, e-mail blasts, promo items, etc.
  • Manage all sales collateral materials including: business cards, stationary, brochures, sales kits, marketing collateral etc.
  • Assist with tours of the hotel by greeting and directing visitors
  • Assist when requested during events that need extra attention or assistance to ensure client satisfaction
  • Assist with generating the weekly BEO’s for communication to other departments
  • Attend daily, weekly, and monthly meetings as required by on and above property team members – may be required to take minutes and follow-up with assigned actions
  • Compile any daily, weekly, and monthly reports
  • Manage databases and enter hotel room blocks into the PMS
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, co-workers, and other departments
  • Abides by all policies and guidelines for Hawkeye Hotels
  • Provide security for guests, employees, and property by o Adhering to security procedures for guest room keys and master keys. o Understanding all hotel emergency procedures o Reporting any suspicious activity to management

The right candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • Education and/or Experience
  • Qualification in hotel sales or related hospitality industry desired.
  • Management or supervisory experience in hotels or experience in the industry with transferrable skills.
  • Communication Skills
  • Must be able to read, write and understand the English language, write concise reports with proper format, punctuation, spelling, and grammar; speak with poise, voice control and confidence using correct English and pleasant voice tone.
  • Must be able to conduct and manage meetings, as well as speak to large groups as needed.
  • Ability to communicate with staff members who speak/write limited English.
  • Must have an outgoing, sales minded personality with the ability to close.
  • Accounting a. Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
