Position Summary:

The Sales Director is responsible for sourcing and acquiring new clients for Zenith American Solutions products and services.

"Has minimum necessary access to Protected Health Information (PHI) and Personally Identifiable Information (PII) by Job Description/Role."

General Duties:

  • Identifies potential clients in the target market and completes appropriate research on the prospective client's business needs.
  • Builds strong and lasting relationships with prospective customers founded on mutual trust and aligned goals.
  • Partners with client services team, operations, IT and marketing to create contract-winning proposals for prospective clients.
  • Manages timely, accurate, and robust prospect, pipeline, and forecast data.
  • Demonstrates a detailed understanding of the company's businesses, objectives, products and services in order to optimize our marketing strategy and tactics.
  • Evaluates new markets and collaborates with colleagues to determine effective strategies for entering opportunities identified.
  • Continuously improves processes to adapt to market evolution and company growth.
  • Collaborates with the team to ensure contracted work specifications are executed on-time and as agreed.
  • Trains and assists team members to develop their skills in sales, marketing, presentation skills and external communications.
  • Assists with special projects and other duties as assigned.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Minimum
Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in related field such as Marketing or Business and eight years of experience in a client facing Sales role responsible for acquiring new clients.

Or

  • High School diploma and 10 years of experience in a client facing Sales role responsible for acquiring new clients.
  • Existing relationships in and familiarity of labor/Taft-Hartley benefits
  • Demonstrated achievement in B2B sales
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including facilitation of group presentations
  • Persuasive communication skills and proven track record of closing deals
  • Understanding of TPA industry, with the ability to become subject matter expert on the job
  • Innovation and problem-solving skills that include the ability to develop customized solutions for prospective clients
  • Proficient PC skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook skills.

  • Ability to foster teamwork. Ability to build collaborative relationships. Customer service skills. Interpersonal skills. Oral and written communication skills. (Not required but "nice to have")
  • Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) a plus
  • Experience with Health & Welfare and Pension Plans
