ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re looking for a Sales Engineer, who’s primary role will be to partner with the Sales Department and to work alongside Account Executives and Sales Development Representatives to achieve sales and bookings goals. In this position you would supply product expertise in the sales process and be a key contributor for defining the product-solution design and approach to solve for customer requirements.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Evaluate technical requirements of new sales opportunities
- Present technical solutions in the form of software demonstrations, detailed solution illustrations and comprehensive integration diagrams that focuses on solving current pain points and driving incremental value
- Participate in customer technical discovery sessions to develop a comprehensive understanding of the customer’s current state, current processes, current systems, and current pain points
- Provide timely, accurate and favorable responses to technical and business requirements via RFPs/Proposals
- Work with Kibo services to ensure successful delivery of SOWs that accurately represent pre-sales pitched solutions
- Provide valuable industry expertise, thought leadership and consulting to clients and prospects centered on innovative uses of technology that drive value creation
- Build technical customized demos for developer audiences
- Deliver customized narrative-based product demonstrations, presentations and training sessions at prospect/customer sites, remotely and at Kibo offices
- Work tightly with Kibo Professional Services and Kibo Certified Integration and Implementation Partners to ensure accurate and successful delivery of SOWs and services sales pitches
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales Leadership, Professional Services, Product Management and other areas of the business to champion the solution vision and innovation we see with our clients and prospects.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
Proven history in at least two of the following:
- 2+ years as a SE in commerce or a related software (strongly preferred)
- 2+ years selling cloud-based commerce, order management, or personalization software
- 2+ years as a technical analyst in software-as-a-service (SaaS) cloud technology
- 2+ years at Kibo in a technical or sales-related role
Additionally, a successful SE candidate will have prior experience:
- Giving customer/prospect-facing presentations
- Presenting to large (10+) audiences
- Illustrating process mapping
- Using commerce software
