We have an immediate opening for a Sales Estimating Engineer in Waukesha, Wisconsin. Sales Estimating Engineers are key members of our highly energized, collaborative sales team. Sales Estimating Engineers are responsible for developing accurate and thorough cost estimates for our customers’ custom, high-end applications. Through near-daily interactions with all departments and suppliers, you will further develop your leadership skills and grow your manufacturing knowledge. Our well-established onboarding program and excellent training plan allows you to learn the business, will lead to daily success, and provide a broad knowledgebase for future growth opportunities within the company. This position is an excellent place to begin your career as it provides exposure to our customers, our markets, and our unique manufacturing processes.
A degree in engineering, materials technology, or business and/or experience in the metals manufacturing industry are preferred. Excellent communication and computer skills, project management experience and strong technical aptitude are required. Actual estimating experience in a foundry, machining, or other metals manufacturing environment is a plus.
