We are looking for a key person to join our team at Calistoga Bikeshop. This team member will run the front end of the shop (sales and merchandising), engage with our customers who come from near (for sales/service) and far (for rentals/tours), and keep the shop looking top tier.
If you have experience in the cycling industry, and want the small town feel while having the flow of a busier area, this could be for you. Calistoga is a great place to live/work - Napa Valley Brewing company is right next door to us, Buster's BBQ and Local 707 BBQ are frequent stops by our employees for lunch, all reachable by bike during the work day. We are on the single main street of Calistoga (basically three blocks long), surrounded by mountains and vineyards. Summary
As Sales Manager, you'll maintain a sales space that will be welcoming to all who walk in, both with a curated aesthetic and great customer service. You will show us your sales prowess by demonstrating to the rest of the team your ability translate good service into sales, and vice versa. You will generate purchase orders from special order items and prepare them for the buyer, and help set up bike tours frequently as well.
Our goal for all our team is to help more people get outside, and have fun doing it. We are all about health, movement, and enjoying the outdoors. You'll also have the opportunity to get out and enjoy the outdoors during work hours by guiding a tour now and then.
Compensation Range
Hourly Rate $22.00 - $30.00. Rate depends heavily on how proficient you are on Lightspeed Retail Point of Sale, as well as Google sheets and docs. This will be a computer heavy position whenever customers are not in the store, as well as whenever running transactions.
