Overview:

The Inside Sales Manager is responsible for the development, support, and performance of all steel sales activities in the assigned markets as they relate to the inside sales team. They will direct the inside sales team to provide leadership towards the achievement of maximum profitability and growth in line with company vision and values.

Responsibilities:
- Manage the inside sales team directly
- Work to solve sales related problems
- Manage customer relationships
- Oversee customer assignment
- Maintain positive morale and managing team dynamics
- Develop training and educational programs for inside sales representatives
- Contribute to personnel from onboarding, offboarding, accountability, etc
- Assist with sales orders and taking sales calls as need
- Implement individual and team goals
- Review and assist in resolution of all backorders.
- Monitor sales pipelines
- Develop training and educational programs for inside sales representatives
- Streamline processes to minimize sales errors
- Managing budgets
- Communicating and coordination with other departments.
- Establish specific plans and strategies to maximize the company’s market share at its existing customer base and expand the customer base in the marketing area.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred) or equivalent experience.
Knowledge/Skills/Competencies:
- Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficient level of computer skills in typing, number key, Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Able to work in a team environment.
