JOB TITLE: Sales Operations Manager
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Sales Operations Manager acts as the primary liaison between the Commercial Team and all other functional areas to ensure alignment of the sales and marketing process with the overall business. This position is critical in improving and scaling our commercial operations to grow the business effectively and efficiently. Primary areas of emphasis are pipeline management, CRM management, sales, and marketing data management, as well as the resulting execution of each and associated process improvement. This individual must be highly organized, meticulous, and bring discipline and rigor to the function. Additionally, the ability to work cross-functionally and be highly personable is required for success.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Own the end-to-end process of tracking the sales funnel and operational metrics and delivering regular insights to the business; define and deliver techniques to improve the funnel performance
· Own and expand the use of CRM as the organization’s main source of truth for the commercial function, including, pipeline management, contact strategy, account planning, call logging, etc.
· Identifying customers and sales opportunities by analyzing sales data and customer trends. Market share/opportunity by customer.
· Ability to understand high-level sales strategies, translate them into system and process requirements, and ensure local execution and business impact
· Manage relationships with external vendors to ensure high-quality and timely execution of marketing programs, functions, and tactics
· Develop and implement strategy for ongoing control, maintenance and enhancement of marketing leads database
· Plan and execute marketing campaigns
· Maintain and update company website, e-commerce site and social media pages
· Analyze marketing data, such as campaign results, conversion rates, website traffic, online inquiries, etc.
DESIRED SKILLSET:
· Bachelor’s degree required in business or a related field
· 5+ years in a similar sales/marketing/commercial operations role supporting a sales team; experience working for a medical device company, a plus
· Proficiency with CRMs (e.g. NetSuite, Salesforce, Dynamics, etc.)
· Well-developed capabilities in problem-solving and crafting efficient processes
· Excellent organizational, verbal, written communication, and problem-solving skills
· An ability to initiate and build relationships with people in an open, friendly, and accepting manner
· A result and success-oriented mentality, conveying a sense of urgency and driving issues to closure
· Willingness to learn, possess a can-do attitude, and motivated to succeed and grow
· Ability to multi-task with strong attention to detail
· Proficient in MS Office Suite; Adobe; Word Press; and CRMs
