As Penske maintains our trajectory of rapid growth, we continue to evaluate our needs to enhance processes and supporting systems. Recently we elected to invest in Sales Performance Management (SPM) system Varicent and are seeking an experienced SPM Analyst to play an essential role supporting Varicent SPM. The Analyst will be responsible for the partnering with our Sales Teams and other key stakeholders to gather system requirements, configured enhancements, worth with our implementation partner, and develop and execute test scripts. Additional activities include monitoring and maintaining data integrity though auditing, mass updates, reporting and end user support.
This position will report directly to the Manager - SPM Experience and will work on a high performing team of Analysts. System analysts have regular interaction with Sales Teams, Compensation, IT, and other Leadership across Penske organizations. Additionally, they will work closely with external vendors and consultants to assure a high level of service for our business.
Optimally we would love to have candidate embedded with our team in our corporate office in Reading, PA, however we will consider the potential for qualified candidates in a remote capacity with willingness to travel to our corporate office on occasion.
Major Responsibilities:
- Setup and configuration of the SPM module.
- Create, review and execute test scripts to verify systems are functioning as expected after, upgrades, patches and bug fixes.
- Analyze system performance.
- Creation and distribution of reports.
- Customer trouble shooting and training support.
- Protecting data integrity.
- Service request case management.
- Identify and correct errors in a timely manner and escalate as appropriate.
- Provide project support.
- Document current state and identify areas of improvement.
- User configuration and setup.
- Other projects as assigned by the Manager
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree preferred. If no degree, equivalent work experience is required.
- With Bachelor’s a minimum of 2 years of experience in a role supporting business systems, including customer support, reporting, and issue resolution.
- Experience with Varicent SPM - or other commission system experience is required.
- Familiarity and past experience with Python and SQL highly preferred
- Advanced level of understanding of systems of record and their data structure required.
- Intermediate level of experience editing of report queries.
- Intermediate level of knowledge with SaaS configurations.
- Must have advanced level of experience with Excel, Outlook, Word, Power Point.
- Must have experience with technical issue resolution process.
- Experience with System Configuration.
- Must be able to multi-task & have strong attention to detail.
- Advanced problem-solving skills.
- Must be customer service focused.
- Strong verbal & written communication skills required.
- Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.
- Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening are required.
